Yossi Benayoun agrees Chelsea switch

Yossi Benayoun has reportedly agreed a move to Chelsea.

According to the Israeli Sport 5 website, Benayoun is expected to sign a contract with Chelsea within the next few days.

A four-year deal is expected to be the length of the contract, but the cost of the deal has yet to be revealed. The Liverpool midfielder had a tough domestic season, and a few weeks ago was touted as a potential replacement for Joe Cole.

Benayoun stated he was expecting a potential move to the double-winners. “[Chelsea Manager Carlo] Ancelotti wants me for next season and now everything depends on Liverpool. Chelsea will have to pay some £6million but I believe that in the end I'll be moving there," he said.
