The Spanish side have almost signed the Deportivo La Coruna midfielder, Andres Guardado, and he will be joining the third-place side in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Valencia have once again finished third in the Spanish La Liga. However, this time they are without the services of their ‘brilliant’ coach, Unai Emery.
The Spanish giants, who managed to reach the semi-final of the UEFA Champions League, will be signing the Deportivo La Coruna midfielder, Andres Guardado, in the upcoming transfer window.
Los Che have been following the player for quite some time now. The midfielder’s contract at Riazor will be expiring at the end of the current season and it seems that he will cost Valencia almost nothing and reportedly the agreement between the two parties
has already been reached.
Recently, the Deportivo La Coruna coach, Jose Luis Oltra came out in the open and told the press how he allowed the player to travel to the Mestalla. Even though he did not actually say what exactly the player went for, it is quite obvious that the midfielder
went to sign a contract with the third-place Spanish La Liga side.
The Deportivo La Coruna coach said:
“I know that he traveled to Valencia. I have given him permission.”
“I know what happened, but I will not say.”
Even though Deportivo La Coruna will be missing their midfielder, the good news for them is the fact that they will be playing in the Spanish La Liga next season as they have managed to secure an automatic promotion.
The 25-year-old Mexican midfielder was taken by Deportivo La Coruna back in 2008, for a fee of 7 million Euros and he was considered to be a hot prospect in the transfer market back then.
The player had a lot of expectations attached to him, but he never became an important part of Depor.
However, he finally managed to pick some form and showed the world what he is capable of, after he managed to score 11 goals in the 33 games he has played this season.
Valencia finished third in La Liga, which means they will be competing in the UEFA Champions League next season.
