Triple H rejects The Undertaker’s rematch offer for WrestleMania 28 – Wrestling News

Monday night Raw came with a couple of surprises with the biggest one being Triple H’s rejection to The Undertaker’s rematch offer for WrestleMania 28.

The Undertaker made his return last week while Triple H was in the ring with John Laurinaitis, the interim GM for RAW. While John left the ring, Triple H and The Undertaker shared a moment, looking into each other’s eyes. Triple H walked away which was considered as ‘rejecting The Undertaker’s offer’.

In this week’s RAW, Triple came made his way into the ring to explain why exactly he walked away or rejected the Deadman’s offer. He started sweet saying he has always respected The Undertaker and he always had butterflies in his stomach whenever he shared the ring with The Phenom. He further stated that now he feels sorry for The Undertaker and that last week he did not feel the same when he (Triple H) was looking in his eyes.

At the end of Triple H’s speech, a video advertisement showing The Undertaker watching his previous WrestleMania match’s clips went on air. The message of this advertisement was simple; The Undertaker wants his revenge over Triple H who made him go on a stretcher in their last encounter.

Their last encounter was quite brutal and The Undertaker was lucky enough to get hold of Triple H at the end. He locked his Hell’s Gate on Triple H and made the Game tap, but that was just pure luck. If Triple H had not been close enough, chances of The Undertaker getting pinned down were down. For some reason, call it luck or destiny, The Undertaker and his streak survived.

As of now, it seems like The Undertaker is more interested in avenging the humiliation he suffered last year instead of adding another number to his streak. Triple H, on the other hand, has clearly rejected The Undertaker’s offer saying that he knows The Undertaker cannot pull it through anymore.

Last year, in the post-match speech, Triple H said that he will wait for The Undertaker to make his ring return and he will be happy to face him. However, now the tables have turned and Hunter is no longer in the mood.
