Top Dogs (09/11/10)

Three Greyhounds to follow for today’s racing

1, Killnascully Gem (NAP 12.47 Nottingham) – Has had two runs at this grade, winning once and finishing a head third last week. He failed to trap with any sort of conviction that day, but can be excused – expect better today.

2, Nelson Maldini (15.58 Sunderland) – Looks to have landed the perfect draw as the only wide runner in this A3 contest. His nearest rival, in terms of times, should be Tornaroy Tevez who does he best work near the finish, but hopefully the six dog can build up an unassailable lead to see off Tevez’s late challenge.

3, Due Haste (7.27 Sheffield) – In a race that carries a questionable tag of an open race standard, it surely will pay to side with the classiest dog. The selection has been running behind some top quality dogs of late including Derby champ Bandicoot Tipoki and Boher Legend without troubling the leaders, but today looks like a level at which he can dominate.
