Shawn Michaels speaks memories of the WWE – WWE News
Former professional wrestler Shawn Michaels opened up in an Under the Ring interview, revealing some of the best moments he had in the WWE. The Heart Break Kid revealed memories of the dressing room and the parking lot, and he also spoke of the day he first
became champion. According to Mr. WrestleMania, the world of wrestling has changed a great deal and everyone can see that.
“It’s funny. The biggest memory I have of Poughkeepsie is the parking. There’s just that one little line in the back of the building. We all had to line up. If a guy got behind you and you were on early, you weren’t going anywhere. You could be first or
second match and you’d have to stay there until the last match because you had four cars behind you,” said Michaels when asked about his funniest moments in the business.
“(The Dressing room) This is one of the first places I came after being champion for the first time and going on last and then, going into the shower and the shower just being full of everything not good,” he added.
Michaels retired from the World Wrestling Entertainment two years back, when he went head to head with The Undertaker, putting his career on the line. The Undertaker, who owns an unbeatable streak at the WrestleMania, was surprised to see Michael’s will
to fight. The match they created was epic and stands as one of the best in the history of wrestling.
Although many call it scripted, the WWE has produced some of the best and most popular fighters in the world today. Before the advent of mainstream MMA, wrestling was the choice when it came to combat sports. Fighters like Michaels, Brett Hart, Hulk Hogan,
The Undertaker and The Rock were people’s champions. They gave everything they had in the ring just to create history.
Michaels believes things have changed a lot and fighters of today are more focused as the business helps them out in advancing. He spoke of his previous days saying he had to do everything on his own to build himself up from scratch.
