Premier League Full Time Report: Fulham vs Liverpool – Part 5

In the 63rd minute of the game, Dempsey and Gudjohnsen, both almost got the ball into the back of the Liverpool net, but the Reds somehow managed to get the ball clear of the lines and in doing so, kept their two goal lead intact.

In the 65th minute of the game, Skrtel went on to get involved in a tussle with Zamora and once the two them parted, the referee went on to award the Liverpool defender with a yellow card for his efforts. Nonetheless, despite winning a free-kick in a dangerous area, Zamora could only get his effort as far as the wall and as a result, another Fulham attack amounted to nothing.

In the 70th minute, Rodriguez went on to complete his hat-trick for the Reds in some style. The Argentine got the ball some twenty yards from the Fulham goal and went on to unleash a blistering effort into the top left corner of the goal. Despite being on his line, Schwarzer could do very little to keep that fine effort out of his goal.

In the 74th minute, Sidwell went on to take down Lucas and due to the violent nature of the tackle, was shown a yellow card.

Shelvey went on to slip Suarez on with a delicately placed through ball and the striker then went on to round Schwarzer and calmly slot the ball into the back of the net.

Soon after the goal, Fulham went on to replace the goal scorer Dembele and brought on Gael Kakuta to take his place.
