Manchester United step up Wesley Sneijder chase

Manchester United are finally stepping up their pursuit to bag Inter Milan’s Wesley Sneijder. The main reason for this is that Inter seem to have placed a price tag of a mere twenty five million pounds on the midfielder and by all means that is a bargain. United are not willing to beat around the bush and will try and tie up a deal with the Italian side as soon as possible.

With just twenty five million keeping United away from one of the best midfielders in the world, it seems a sure shot that they are going to land their man.

Arsene Wenger to spend in the summers, hopefully

Arsene Wenger has been handed a handsome transfer kitty of forty million pounds with which to invest in new players. However the money that he is going to have available to him is also required to cover wages for the players, while assisting with improvements to any contracts that Wenger deems necessary.

However, it seems like Wenger might just end up landing a decent player or two and provide cover for his defence. At the same time an attempt to bag a decent keeper or two doesn’t seem that unlikely at the moment as well.

Kenny Dalglish hints at spending spree

Liverpool manager, Kenny Dalglish, has gone on to hint that he might just be taking to the transfer market in the summer. This is of course if you go on to interpret the manager’s words in that manner.

Dalglish is reported to have said, "Every summer is important for the club. The better the business, the more successful the club is going to be. If you do good business, you've more chance of being successful. That just doesn't mean buying players and letting players go, it's about developing what else you have. This summer is going to be very important, not just for Liverpool Football Club, but every football club. And the better decisions you make, the better business you do, the better chance you have of setting yourself up for next season."

No matter what way you look at it, the business that Dalglish seems to be hinting at is going to be transfer market related. The manager has been looking at getting rid of a number of players and has been hinting at wanting to bring in some defensive reinforcements, while adding some wingers to the current roster that the club possesses.
