Malik and Mirza to marry today - reports
In the latest development in the marriage plans of Indian tennis player Sania Mirza and Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik, it has been reported the couple will be taking their vows today.
According to reports, the nikah (matrimonial contract between a bride andgroom in an Islamic marriage) will be performed after evening prayers on Friday and the April 15th date that had previously been reported they day they were to tie the knot is in fact the date their wedding reception will be held.
This most recent twist in the tale follows revelations that Malik was already married to another Indian woman, Ayesha Siddiqui, but after initially denying the allegations, the cricketer eventually took the path of least resistance and signed the divorce papers.
