Kilcar Lassie tipped to win Bettor.com Social Betting Puppy Trophy 525 at Drumbo Park
Although Kilcar Lassie is running in an open race for the first time and will be under enormous pressure, her chances of winning the Bettor.com Social Betting Puppy Trophy 525 are quite bright at Drumbo Park on Saturday, June 23rd.
The 525 yards flat contest will be kicked off at 19:40 (GMT). It holds a cash prize worth €600, which will be given to the ultimate champion. Among Kilcar Lassie’s rivals are: Santro Star, Krelco, Calico Classic, Sheepwalk Shaw and Moorlands Ciaran.
Kilcar Lassie is still unbeaten in her career. After sealing three consecutive triumphs at different venues, the black bitch came to Drumbo Park in great style. In a 525 yards race, R. McKeown’s charge displayed a wonderful show and secured the first rank
by a length’s distance.
Despite the fact that all her victories were at the lower grades, one cannot ignore her winning momentum. In the recent outing over this distance, the magnificent bitch stopped the clock in just 29.10 seconds and if she manages to raise her game even a little,
it will be a great ride for her.
Santro Star has plenty of experience in this class. At the start of last month, the black dog won a similar race, but has been struggling with his form since then.
In his previous outing, Head Bound’s son got crowded at the third bend and as a result, completed the order of finish. Since he is completely out of form these days, it is hard to recommend him.
Calico Classic is coming from the lower grade. Krelco was not impressive in his recent outing, finishing fourth on the table. Moreover, he is running at Drumbo Park for the first time.
Moorlands Ciaran has two consecutive wins under his belt, but a similar effort will not be enough to win this kind of race. Sheepwalk Shaw is out of rhythm at the moment and therefore, the punters should look elsewhere for the winner.
Kilcar Lassie has an obvious chance of winning today. However, a flawless run is required to enjoy the treat. Good luck to all runners.
