Inter Milan striker Goran Pandev agent says the player will not leave the club – Serie A news
Inter Milan striker Goran Pandev’s agent Carlo Pallavicino has said that the player does not intend to leave the Nerazzurri in the ongoing 2010-11 season and plans to stay with the side for a long time.
Premier League side Manchester City skipper Carlos Tevez is being thought of as a prime candidate to be acquired by the Serpent during the summer transfer window in 2011- a move that might make Pandev’s position doubtful in the side. Moreover, the striker
has had a tough time at the front of the field this season and in 16 appearances, he found the back of the net just twice.
The forward’s agent Carlo Pallavicino has dismissed all rumours linking Pandev with a move away from the club and said that no matter who comes into the team, the Macedonian footballer will not leave.
While talking to reporters, Pallavicino said, “I’m convinced that Pandev will be at Inter next season. They have yet to admire his true quality. I hope that he can soon play alongside Carlos Tevez.”
The talismanic striker Carlos Tevez is the primary target of the Nerazzurri for the summer transfers as the Italian giants are looking forward to make some impactful changes to the squad.
Pallavicino talking about the over the overhauling required said, “The fact that Inter need rebuilding is clear to everybody, but I don’t know how long it will take. I think Leonardo will stay as Coach because there is a good feeling with President Massimo
Moratti. There is a need for time and patience, but the club must understand that a lot of players have lost their motivation.”
Inter have made a humiliating exit from the UEFA Champions League after being thrashed by Schalke 04 7-3 on aggregate.
Moreover, the previous loss to AC Milan in the Derby della Madonnina has left the outfit in the midst of criticism and experts have been saying that Inter need many changes in the squad in order to regain the elite status they have held for so long.
