Benfica president, Luis Felipe Vieira, commented on the situation and revealed that due to the player’s family problems he had been allowed to leave Portugal and play for a club in his homeland till June.
Speaking to reporters, the official said that the winger’s family issues had become very complicated and out of sympathy, the Lisbon giants had agreed to let him leave the helm on a temporary basis.
“Enzo Perez has retracted as a family problem arose and it has become very complicated. I gave him permission today [yesterday] to leave for Argentina and so that he can be with his mother. When he arrives in Argentina, we’ll see from there what happens,”

The attacking midfielder has been given a new lease of life for 6 months and he should grab the opportunity with both hands and make the most of it, so that he can be ready for the rigours of the Portuguese League when returns to the Stadium of Light.
