Barcelona – Probably line-up season 2011/2012 (Part 2)
Next season Barcelona are going to be relatively different in terms of squad depth. The Catalan Giants are going to have a lot of world class players available on the bench. While everyone thought that this Barcelona side is the best, the one which is going
to be present the next year will be better.
The Spanish Champions are going to be having Alexis Sanchez in the attack. Moreover, Thiago Alcantara is going to be present on the bench to replace any player in the midfield. In case Puyol recovers from his knee injury, Javier Mascherano is going to be
present on the bench in order to replace Sergio Busquets.
Currently, the players available for Josep Guardiola to play in the first team are outstanding. Guardiola is going to face a lot of selection crises in the next term but all these crises will create a lot of competition and this will definitely help Barcelona
win more trophies.
Javier Mascherano, Sergio Busquets, Gerard Pique, Eric Abidal and Carles Puyol are the players which Barcelona can play in the centre back position. Daniel Alves, Adriano and Montoya can perform in the right back role. Maxwell, Eric Abidal and Adriano can
perform on the left. This means that each position is filled with good players to replace extraordinary players.
In the midfield, Sergio Busquets will have two natural replacements – Seydou Keita and Javier Mascherano. Xavi Hernandez, who will not be able to perform throughout the season, will have Andres Iniesta, Seydou Keita and Thiago Alcantara to play in his centre
midfield role. In case Cesc Fabregas joins Barcelona, he will be given a chance in the first team for sure. The attacking midfield role of Iniesta can be taken by Alcantara, Xavi Hernandez and the Dutch youngster Ibrahim Afellay.
The attacking trio can vary for the Catalan Giants. Josep Guardiola will have a lot of options available in the attack which means that he will have a lot of players to change to confuse the opposition.
The winger Alexis Sanchez can play on any of the flanks just like Pedro Rodriguez, Ibrahim Afellay, Andres Iniesta, Lionel Messi and David Villa. All these players can operate on any of the sides of the attack and will definitely cause havoc for any opposition
in the world.
Lionel Messi and David Villa will operate in the centre forward role. Messi might not perform throughout the season because of a lot of games which he has played in 2010/2011 and Alexis Sanchez will be his replacement so that Pedro and Sanchez can play on
the flanks while Villa can play in his favourite centre forward role.
Barcelona are going to be invincible the next season. Josep Guardiola has to make some wise choices in order to win trophies and a team with such extraordinary players and a coach like Josep Guardiola can definitely win anything.
